Dr. Sean Dyreng

Dr. Sean Dyreng grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, which fostered his lifelong passion for running, mountain biking, and skiing. He completed his B.A. in English Literature at Utah Valley University, where he met the love of his life and mother of his five children, Nicole. 

Upon graduation, Dr. Dyreng earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry with Sigma Cum Laude honors at the University of Louisville.  Following dental school, Dr. Dyreng worked as a general dentist for the US Navy and participated in military operations aboard the USS Nimitz. Shortly after, Dr. Dyreng received his Certificate in Orthodontics and M.S. in Oral Biology from the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program at Lackland AFB.  

Dr. Dyreng currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia, with his wife and five children. His enthusiasm for treating young patients is a natural consequence of being surrounded by so many children at home! Dr. Dyreng has a calm, steady approach to treatment, which is based on clinical experience and literature-supported methods.  Dr. Dyreng is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and is board-certified with the American Board of Orthodontics.
